There were videos, statues, children activity areas, as well as articles on display that you could purchase. It featured examples of Art and other people related services from various states of Mexico. or Corazon de Mexico (the Heart of Mexico). We have seen many Tecel events promoting the Telephone Company but this time there was an Event named the C D M X. But in the center of all that is the Zocalo. One can buy jewelry and eat at restaurants on the border of the Zocalo. From the beautiful Cathedral, to the Aztec ruins and Museum to the murals of Hidalgo Rivera. There are plenty of opportunities to buy snacks and drinks during the tour from various vendors and shops. The Zocalo of Mexico City is a focal point for people to enjoy the many offerings of the Country of Mexico. I brought sunglasses, a hat, and an umbrella and would recommend other travellers do the same the pyramids do not offer any shade from the midday sun so having some portable shade makes the experience more enjoyable. Twenty minutes would've been enough and would've left us more time to spend at Teotihuacan. Things I would change about the trip: we could've spent less time at the tequila tasting location. The English speaking tour guide, Gerson, was very knowledgeable about the history of the sites we were visiting, and made the experience both entertaining and educational. This guided tour from Amigo Tours was well run and the bus showed up on time at the pickup location behind the Palacio de Belles Arts. I wanted to go see the pyramids of Teotihuacán but didn't want to plan my own itenerary and organize my own transportation since I was staying in Centro Historico and did not have a car.
